Quincy BJJ continued on their November winning streak at the 26th Revolution Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in Tacoma on Saturday, November 15th. Mykenzi Realme earned 3rd place in Gi (traditional uniform) and 1st in No Gi (board shorts & rash guard). Ethan Highfill earned a 2nd place in Gi. Jaselyn Jones earned a 2nd in Gi and 1st place in No Gi. Tejah Jones earned a 1st place in No Gi. Christan Seda earned 2nd in Blue belt Gi. Jayden Elmore earned 1st place in No Gi. Jeremy Seda, Al Gomez, Casey Mead, Shawn Highfill and Boden Highfill were also among the group competing in the tournament. Quincy BJJ combined points with T-Town MMA and Gig Harbor Kickboxing, representing as the Narrows Fight Team and earned 2nd in the Youth No Gi and 3rd in Youth overall (Gi and No Gi) team points.
While some came back with some extra gear from the tournament, everyone improved as competitors and students and are testament to the Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle of “win or learn”!
