Congratulations to Coach Pipes on his Promotion
The T-Town MMA clinics ended on one final good note with a surprise promotion for Coach Pipes:

BJJ Camp Mock Tournament Photos and Results
A tournament is always a good way to close the BJJ Summer Camp to see a week of learning put to the test. Senior students refined their techniques and new students got immersed and addicted to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in one week. Here are the results in the ugliest-drawn brackets:

What a way to end a good week of BJJ! Promoting my first female to blue-belt and Ethan to a long-deserved orange-belt! Thank you Coach Jimmy & Darian for helping me make this happen!
Congrats to Joel & Jace on Their Promotions
Two other youth Quincy BJJ students received their promotions today. A big congrats to Joel for sticking with it and earning his yellow-belt and Jace for earning his 4th stripe on his white-belt!

I just wanted to post a public “Thank You” to all the folks who joined me at the Revolution July 13th and 14th! Thanks to Christan, I had the backup coaching I needed and we have some great videos of the matches to dissect and reflect upon. Thanks to Jerry, Lollo, Estella and Erin for taking the time and making the journey out to support their kids and the team. And Thanks to T-Town MMA for covering us when we were short-handed here and there! 🙂

What an awesome weekend! Most of our competitors medaled at the Revolution Tournament in Bonney Lake, including Sebastian, getting 1st in No Gi, Trytan with 2nd in Gi and 2nd in No Gi, Naomi with 3rd in Gi and Chloe with 3rd in Gi!
